Their cloth diaper detergent is made with naturally occurring detergents, minerals and oxygen-releasing agents. It is a very convenient choice, as it works in all types of washers/dryers and works in any temperature of water. The detergent comes in a cute, brown kraft paper bag that is both reclosable and recyclable and comes with washing directions right on the back of it. Alternatively, you can also get the detergent in an adorable glass jar {which I do already have from prior purchase and love}. Mini wooden scoops are available for purchase, as well, and will measure the perfect amount (1-2T) you need for each load of diapers.
And as a huge bonus {at least, in my books!}, their detergents are available in a multitude of fabulous scents, including but not limited to choices such as apple vanilla, buttercream cupcake, cocoa cabana, rice milk & marshmallow & "welcome home," which is a combination of graham crackers, vanilla frosting, caramel & raisins...yummmm! The scents are either made from fragrance oils (FO) or essential oils (EO), and each of their scents clearly indicate which is used. The essential oils contain only the distilled essence of the plant and are a more gentle choice for your baby. The fragrance oils, on the other hand, are either artificially produced or diluted with carrier oils. That being said, all their scents are both phthalate and paraben-free.
So we tried out the cloth diaper detergent in "grapefruit mango" {and also received samples in "baby bee" {just like baby powder} and "lavender vanilla" {very calming and smooth scent}. The detergent itself smells vibrant and awakening {what else would you expect from a citrus scent?!}, but after washing & drying, it really fades away and you're just left with clean-smelling, fragrance-free diapers & clothing. In my opinion, this is the best of both worlds {for doing infant/toddler clothing, at least..although for my own, I'd love to have the scent lingering on my clothing once dry!}, because you have fun with fun scents while doing the laundry, but then are left with clean, fresh diapers for baby without any intoxicating smells.
We also received some of Crunchy Clean's "Sprinkles Deoderizing Powder" in what I consider to be their "signature scent," called "Monkey Fart!" It is a scrumptious combination of banana, grapefruit, kiwi, bubblegum, strawberries & vanilla ~ candy for your nose! We used it in our diaper pail, and for about a week, any time I walked into the nursery, I could smell its delicious aroma.... But beyond diaper pails, you can also use it to sprinkle in your wet bag {for stinky diapers on the go}, on your carpets before vacuuming, in your regular trash cans, or in your sink. It comes in a handy reclosable 6-ounce shaker...easy to store and easy to use without worrying about getting too much product coming out at a time.
And here are some {fabulous laundering tips} from Crunchy Clean, that I just couldn't resist sharing with you all!
*For softening and static cling prevention, us 1/4 - 1/2 cup of vinegar in your rinse. The vinegar will kill any bacteria and prevent residue build-up.
*To naturally brighten your laundry, add 1/2 cup of strained lemon juice to your rinse cycle.
*For an extra stinky/dirty load of cloth diapers, add a small amount of Dawn soap.
*For stains, you can presoak your diapers with warm water & a few tablespoons of Crunchy Clean detergent, or create a paste with the Crunchy Clean detergent that you let sit on the soiled diapers for a few hours before washing.
*Air drying your diapers outside not only saves on energy use, but the sun is also a natural bleaching agent and helps get rid of diaper stains & disinfects them!
BUY IT! Visit Crunchy Clean to buy your own cloth diaper detergent, available in sample, regular or large sizes, or their Sprinkles Deoderizing Powder. All are available in delicious scents you simply will love!

The shop is currently "on vacation", but I tried some of the lavender vanilla detergent two years ago when they very first opened and loved it. I have not tried any with cloth diapers but would love to. I would also love to try the diaper pail sprinkles!
